Last Words Before Summer Ends..

So, what have I been doing this summer?

>>Ate Marla's stay..

My cousin, ate Marla, went here for a vacation.. Her stay here only lasted for a week.. We did lots of fun stuff, like, she thought me how to play the guitar, and I learned how to play chords A9, E, and D! Ha-ha! I keep playing it over and over coz it's the chord for the 1st stanza of Tumatakbo by Mojofly.. Good thing is, I learned something new, right? XD Same with ate Marla too, I taught her how to play the piano.. She actually learned the song Can't Help Falling In Love.. ^_^

Oh, when she first arrived here, our very-friendly-ironically-speaking dog did its routine.. Every time there's a visitor.. Sniff here and there.. I was expecting that Bannie, our dog, would gobble ate Marla up (kiddin'!) err, I mean the dog would bite her like what it usually does.. But Bannie was kind with her! For the first time.. XD The last time kasi when my younger cousins had their vacation here in cavite the dog was torturing them.. waa exaggerating!

Besides music-tripping, we kept on reading books during her stay.. She read my books (w/c I haven't even turned a single page..) and she finished almost all of it! While me, yours truly, read books like a turtle!~ I read 2 books that ate owns.. Hah! The Mermaids Singing and It Happened to Nancy.. And we "raided" Booksale at SM Southmall.. Bought 9 books! Ha-ha! I forgot to ask her to tell me the story of Wuthering Heights.. And that is the classic reader for school that we need to read!

Ah.. We also had our takutan here in my room.. Searched the web for horror games.. And had our speakers up.. The blinds on the windows down.. Dark room + loud speakers=FUN! I like that equation.. XD I asked ate Marla to play almost all the games.. Ok, to tell the truth, ALL! =P While she plays, I watch.. Brave me.. n_n

Another game I let her play is Nancy Drew, a mystery game..and I can tell that she's hooked! Haha! I kept on giving hints to her every time she plays, and she got annoyed.. XD

She also loved the food that our uncle served.. Especially the Caldereta! Haha~ yum! And by the way, we were bedridden the whole week.. Reading while lying down and all.. haha! I miss her company na..

>>Movies..

The movies that I watched this summer:
1.She's the Man---twin power! yeah! XD
2.Just Friends--"and I swear.. by the moon and the stars and the sky.."
3.Date Movie--eeekkkk.. dont ask me! >_<>>Badminton..

Last, last, last, last unknown date, me, Lei, Danni, Klarisse and Xenna(?) played badminton at Starmall Mall (haha!) I was drained.. even though we only played in less than 2 hours.. (? I can't remember..) I knew from the start that badminton is NOT for me.. arrgh! remembering this disappoints me, but I know I gave my friends something to laugh at.. IN OTHER WORDS bano ako mag-play ng badminton haha!

This summer, I made my own acount in Deviantart.. haha visit nio na lng.. if you dare. Di naman kc magaganda ung works.. XD

Last last unknown date (again?! basta monday un..) my parents and I went to the US embassy to apply for our US visa. I knew there would be loooong lines of people when we go there, so I brought Animal Farm (classic reader at school) so I can read it while waiting for our turn.. and I finished it!~

During the interview, the guy that was interviewing us didn't ask me a lot of questions.. Mom was the one who answered the questions the asked.. This was my first time to go with my parents to the embassy, I can't help but get nervous..

Guy: I have good news and bad news. I'm afraid your daughter can't go with you to the US.
Mom: but why?
Guy: She looks so makulit.. Are you makulit? (asks me)
Me: no, I'm not.. ---->more like a whisper.
Dad:---->L-i-e-s.
Guy: (smiles) well, please show the yellow papers at Window-I-forgot-the-number.

Well.. there are three yellow papers, which means I'm in. (haha anu un artista search?) But its not yet time to celebrate.. We dont know if our visas would be for single entry only or 5 years.. XD

So.. we have to surrender our passports so they can put the visa thing in it.. and deliver it after 3-5 days..

After that, my mom decided to treat us at Richmond Hotel for lunch (buffet!~ oh no!) We picked Tita Sor from her work coz her office is near from Richmond eh.. para marami kami..

At Richmond, we arrived first.. I had my straw upside down nga eh (due to hunger ^_~) so we asked for another one... After everything's been settled, its time to hit the buffet table!~

Starting with appetizers, I had maki and salad + sinigang soup.. not quite a good combination but I still like it!~

Main course--->yang chow fried rice and ham(I forgot to put sauce in it so its like im eating raw meat haha!) +crab+chicken+beef mechado..

Desserrrrrrrrt!!!!!!! naku, when I saw the dessert table I was tempted to taste everything!~
there's this black forest cake, carrot cake, buko pandan cheese cake (w/c has a nice design that I had doubts of slicing it ^_~) more, more, more.. and for the finale, I had my 2 servings of chocolate mousse! I was so stuffed that I forgot to eat the cherry haha XD

soooo.. 5 days after that.. we got our passports with our visa in it. waa 2 years lng visa ko while my parents have their 5-year visa! T_T

My mom borrowed a copy of Da Vinci Code from her office mate.. I read it too..

I like how the people are linked, how the plot was planned, and the excitement.. I can't take my hands off it.. being a turtle-reader, I finished the book after 3 days.. at least I finished the book, right? XD

Anagrams are the best!~ I've seen another anagram once.. In one of the nancy drew games that I played.. hehe ^_^

If you have a strong faith for God, read it.. you wouldn't be taken away.. but if you dont.. dont. get me? haha!

What I read from Reader's Digest..

Do you know that Brown's novel caused an increase of tourists in Paris by 10%?(for the reason that the places mentioned in the novel are there) They called it the Dan Brown effect.. haha. Maybe Brown wrote the novel for THAT cause.. tourism purposes.. good idea. Even in the Church of Saint-Suplice, once the tourists were 100,000, now its 700k na daw.. nice! what if the writers here in the Philippines write a story w/c takes place here in our country and has a good plot.. it will attract many tourists here!~

Hey, summer should have been boring, but thanks to the company of Harriette and Leland, I can say I survived summer. haha!~ and oh, they're still intelligent..=P I haven't seen Ayesha, Gizelle and Sarah yet.. I miss them.. my P5 family ---oh, make it P6, I didnt include myself. :)

Before I end this post.. I'll leave you with a tip.. bring an umbrella in case of emergency.. you dont want to get caught in the rain, don't you? :)
