Howdeeee!
Haha, for those who still visit my blog and tag even if I'm not updating anymore, I want to thank you.. for dropping by ^_^ if you think I'm going to stop blogging after this, you're wrong. I still want to update!!
Anyway, we just had our long test last week and we will have our quarterly exams next week. So I guess this is a good time to update.. nyah =p
About the long test last week, uhh.. I did okay. BUT (with a big butt.. argh scratch that 't'!!) I almost failed in C-H-E-M-I-S-T-R-Y. Grr. Well, how can I get a decent score if I always sleep during chem class?? T_T One more thing, we took the long test for 1 hour only. But last year we took the Bio long test for 2 hours, which is unfair, because we all know Chemistry is harder than Bio. Plus the coverage for the long test was not CLEAR. It was mentioned in our hand-outs that we have to study about chapters 1, 2 and 5. But our teacher said that we should study everything EXCEPT chapter 10-- the Mole. But guess what? Chapter 10 was included in the long test.
And during the long test week, we get loads of free time. harhar. The guys in our class kept on playing doctor quack quack (brutal version XD) while one girl will be the doctor, basketball, baseball, dodgeball, archery (using the hanger for the bow and arrow) and even turning around to make themselves dizzy >.< --> take note, they did all those things inside the classroom which is located in front of the faculty room.. talking about getting caught..!
And we (the girls) just watched the guys play and laugh at them.. nyarr. btw, I like the game SOS! huahahaha!
So, for this week, I'm gonna give you a brief summay of what had just happened with my life..
Monday, computer day.
-->my classmates wanted to get additional points for the long test in computer so Ms. Coms said she would give them addtional points if they can detect games on the computers in our computer lab. We did, so in order to know that they are really games, we have to test them! Mummy Maze, Atomica, the fireworks thing and lotsss moree... XD I dont know why I'm sooooooo happy during computer time =)
Tuesday, mass day.
-->the choir members and I sang for the mass.. well, unfortunately, Mrs. Mags told us that we have to make our voices louder, because we are the life of the mass.. etc, etc.. but Ms. Almoite's voice saved the choir! It was the first time I heard her sing and I was like, IDOL! we had an assembly before and after the mass.. haha. Thanks to the long list of announcements we get to miss VE class. And Ernest Sy apologized to the whole high school for some reasons.. another IDOL! hehe..
Wednesday, nothing much day.
-->uhh, enough said? I slept during chem class. Ask Klarisse. :) we had a cool seatwork in 8,9,19,20,15,18,25 (convert the numbers to letters).. heh.
Thursday, et cetera day.
-->ok, we had a game in history which has to be continued the next day. the score is 6-3, in favor of our group ^_^... instant reporting in english... quiz in filipino (I slept while Ms. Pitargue's writing in the board.. haha.) talked about the intrams during accounting class, drill sheet in LOP(I slept after I finished it =p) and had a loud and short sermon during VE class. what a great way to end the day.. :)
Friday, energy draining day.
-->1st subject for today is PE.. play, play, play. But we had the jogging, push-ups, sit-ups, hyperextension and stretching before we do that. :P 3 (trish, nour and klarisse) versus 2 (min ji and I) in badminton.. Soo tired but we have to cook in TLE after snack time.. We did.. Tired again but full (with food! :P) galing mag-cook ni Mr. Cooker (noel)! haha! Then after lunch we continued the game in history again.. :) we won by one point (thanks to klar! Marcus Aurelius! idol din si Trish! Nero!) and of course when we have a game the ones who go in front gets pressured because of the shouting, cheering of none other than us! I admit, I shouted a looot of times. :P Then after dismissal we had choir practice.. Ernest and I were soo hyper during the dancing and introducing thing.. and I stepped on his shoe! sorry ernest! >_< arrr my throat hurts.. T_T I just remembered our Mr. and Ms. August (Louie and Zyra)! Bryan posted their pics in the bulletin board and they look hot! hahahaha!

Goodness, my blog desperately needs an update! I'm gonna be posting random thoughts again..

hehe, the subtitle says it all. I'm still in section A, still together with tin, klar and lei, valedict pipol XD and our adviser is Ms Sabido, who is also our math teacher. I still miss Mrs. Victa, our previous adviser..
--->Met a new friend =)
At our second day of classes, I met a new classmate from OB greenhills. Her name is Trish, and I'm Tricia. LOL. She looks like ate pam from the 4th yr XD

"Dressed up denims with fancy hat"....meaning you must "dress up" your old denim pants with sequins, glitters and stuff. BUT with a touch of red because its the 40th or the RUBY anniversary of OBMCI.. and fancy hat.
--->Days before the party..
Well, every level must have a presentation for the party. in our level, we chose to dance "sumayaw sumunod" and "Bongga ka 'day" for those are old songs, and we all know OB is kinda old too.. So there's a connection XD Anyway, the party is gonna be on friday, July 7th, and we started to practice our dance monday that week. Started out fine though, but I don't get some of the steps..and because of that I get special mentions during the practice.. Example, Eyzelyn said, "Get nyo na? Tricia??" haha XD.. and unbelievably we finished our dance after 2 days(wednesday)!!
The dance steps were made by Eyzelyn, and I admit that the steps were nice and it fits the song. thanks Eyze! :-*

Okay, this party didn't have a good start for us 3rd yr students.. Starting to the entrance to the gym, where teachers will inspect our fancy hats before we can go in..and if you don't have a hat, then you cannot enter the gym. The boys of 3-A and most of the 3-B don't have a fancy hat because they can't find one. Therefore, they cannot enter the gym. But we talked to the teachers days before the party, and we asked them if its okay not to have a fancy hat.. They told us that its okay if you really can't find one..
We were all confused. But the ones who didnt have a fancy hat tried to have one. Like, they made paper hats from newspaper, and applied glitters on it.. but STILL, they can't enter. We're really frustrated and angry at that time. Because if we, the 3rd yr students, aren't complete when the party starts, then our efforts for the dance and eyzelyn's effort would be useless. ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL, that's how its supposed to be, right?
Because the other 3rd yr students cannot enter the gym, they were told to stay at the HS building. Only half of the juniors were at the gym, including me.
The party started and we are NOT complete... and we had our class picture WITHOUT the others... and the teachers wants us to smile for the class pic, but we didn't. Stupid class picture.
After the class picture, we were supposed to present our dance number na. But due to some problems(you know what I mean) we didn't dance yet. The first year students danced "Average Joe" and "Me Against the Dancefloor".. after that, our batchmates who don't have their hat were allowed to enter the gym na! We lightened up a bit, and tried to enjoy the rest of the party.
Games:
Limbo rock: go Zy and louie! hehe XD they got the 2nd place while ate angel and ate dewa from the seniors got the first place ^_^
Follow the Leader: Mrs Victa was the 'leader'.. hehe!
Presentations:
1st yr--like what I said, they danced 'Average Joe' and 'Me Against the Dancefloor'.. for me I liked the way they dance when they were practicing than the actual presentation.. so fast and synchronized!
2nd yr--lots of songs, but I know they danced Buttons and a song from HSM.. they were LOUD, though! meaning active participation! haha! XD
4th yr--it was their longest presentation because it is their last. they danced songs from HSM too, and Buttons, but better. I like their presentation!so HOT! XD
our presentation--the song may not be new, but we managed to do the steps well. not perfect, just fine.

Last Words Before Summer Ends..
So, what have I been doing this summer?
>>Ate Marla's stay..
My cousin, ate Marla, went here for a vacation.. Her stay here only lasted for a week.. We did lots of fun stuff, like, she thought me how to play the guitar, and I learned how to play chords A9, E, and D! Ha-ha! I keep playing it over and over coz it's the chord for the 1st stanza of Tumatakbo by Mojofly.. Good thing is, I learned something new, right? XD Same with ate Marla too, I taught her how to play the piano.. She actually learned the song Can't Help Falling In Love.. ^_^
Oh, when she first arrived here, our very-friendly-ironically-speaking dog did its routine.. Every time there's a visitor.. Sniff here and there.. I was expecting that Bannie, our dog, would gobble ate Marla up (kiddin'!) err, I mean the dog would bite her like what it usually does.. But Bannie was kind with her! For the first time.. XD The last time kasi when my younger cousins had their vacation here in cavite the dog was torturing them.. waa exaggerating!
Besides music-tripping, we kept on reading books during her stay.. She read my books (w/c I haven't even turned a single page..) and she finished almost all of it! While me, yours truly, read books like a turtle!~ I read 2 books that ate owns.. Hah! The Mermaids Singing and It Happened to Nancy.. And we "raided" Booksale at SM Southmall.. Bought 9 books! Ha-ha! I forgot to ask her to tell me the story of Wuthering Heights.. And that is the classic reader for school that we need to read!
Ah.. We also had our takutan here in my room.. Searched the web for horror games.. And had our speakers up.. The blinds on the windows down.. Dark room + loud speakers=FUN! I like that equation.. XD I asked ate Marla to play almost all the games.. Ok, to tell the truth, ALL! =P While she plays, I watch.. Brave me.. n_n
Another game I let her play is Nancy Drew, a mystery game..and I can tell that she's hooked! Haha! I kept on giving hints to her every time she plays, and she got annoyed.. XD
She also loved the food that our uncle served.. Especially the Caldereta! Haha~ yum! And by the way, we were bedridden the whole week.. Reading while lying down and all.. haha! I miss her company na..

The movies that I watched this summer:
1.She's the Man---twin power! yeah! XD
2.Just Friends--"and I swear.. by the moon and the stars and the sky.."
3.Date Movie--eeekkkk.. dont ask me! >_<>>Badminton..
Last, last, last, last unknown date, me, Lei, Danni, Klarisse and Xenna(?) played badminton at Starmall Mall (haha!) I was drained.. even though we only played in less than 2 hours.. (? I can't remember..) I knew from the start that badminton is NOT for me.. arrgh! remembering this disappoints me, but I know I gave my friends something to laugh at.. IN OTHER WORDS bano ako mag-play ng badminton haha!

Last last unknown date (again?! basta monday un..) my parents and I went to the US embassy to apply for our US visa. I knew there would be loooong lines of people when we go there, so I brought Animal Farm (classic reader at school) so I can read it while waiting for our turn.. and I finished it!~
During the interview, the guy that was interviewing us didn't ask me a lot of questions.. Mom was the one who answered the questions the asked.. This was my first time to go with my parents to the embassy, I can't help but get nervous..
Guy: I have good news and bad news. I'm afraid your daughter can't go with you to the US.
Mom: but why?
Guy: She looks so makulit.. Are you makulit? (asks me)
Me: no, I'm not.. ---->more like a whisper.
Dad:---->L-i-e-s.
Guy: (smiles) well, please show the yellow papers at Window-I-forgot-the-number.
Well.. there are three yellow papers, which means I'm in. (haha anu un artista search?) But its not yet time to celebrate.. We dont know if our visas would be for single entry only or 5 years.. XD
So.. we have to surrender our passports so they can put the visa thing in it.. and deliver it after 3-5 days..
After that, my mom decided to treat us at Richmond Hotel for lunch (buffet!~ oh no!) We picked Tita Sor from her work coz her office is near from Richmond eh.. para marami kami..
At Richmond, we arrived first.. I had my straw upside down nga eh (due to hunger ^_~) so we asked for another one... After everything's been settled, its time to hit the buffet table!~
Starting with appetizers, I had maki and salad + sinigang soup.. not quite a good combination but I still like it!~
Main course--->yang chow fried rice and ham(I forgot to put sauce in it so its like im eating raw meat haha!) +crab+chicken+beef mechado..
Desserrrrrrrrt!!!!!!! naku, when I saw the dessert table I was tempted to taste everything!~
there's this black forest cake, carrot cake, buko pandan cheese cake (w/c has a nice design that I had doubts of slicing it ^_~) more, more, more.. and for the finale, I had my 2 servings of chocolate mousse! I was so stuffed that I forgot to eat the cherry haha XD
soooo.. 5 days after that.. we got our passports with our visa in it. waa 2 years lng visa ko while my parents have their 5-year visa! T_T

My mom borrowed a copy of Da Vinci Code from her office mate.. I read it too..
I like how the people are linked, how the plot was planned, and the excitement.. I can't take my hands off it.. being a turtle-reader, I finished the book after 3 days.. at least I finished the book, right? XD

What I read from Reader's Digest..
Do you know that Brown's novel caused an increase of tourists in Paris by 10%?(for the reason that the places mentioned in the novel are there) They called it the Dan Brown effect.. haha. Maybe Brown wrote the novel for THAT cause.. tourism purposes.. good idea. Even in the Church of Saint-Suplice, once the tourists were 100,000, now its 700k na daw.. nice! what if the writers here in the Philippines write a story w/c takes place here in our country and has a good plot.. it will attract many tourists here!~

Hey, summer should have been boring, but thanks to the company of Harriette and Leland, I can say I survived summer. haha!~ and oh, they're still intelligent..=P I haven't seen Ayesha, Gizelle and Sarah yet.. I miss them.. my P5 family ---oh, make it P6, I didnt include myself. :)

soooo.. 5 days after that.. we got our passports with our visa in it. waa 2 years lng visa ko while my parents have their 5-year visa! T_T

I like how the people are linked, how the plot was planned, and the excitement.. I can't take my hands off it.. being a turtle-reader, I finished the book after 3 days.. at least I finished the book, right? XD

What I read from Reader's Digest..
Do you know that Brown's novel caused an increase of tourists in Paris by 10%?(for the reason that the places mentioned in the novel are there) They called it the Dan Brown effect.. haha. Maybe Brown wrote the novel for THAT cause.. tourism purposes.. good idea. Even in the Church of Saint-Suplice, once the tourists were 100,000, now its 700k na daw.. nice! what if the writers here in the Philippines write a story w/c takes place here in our country and has a good plot.. it will attract many tourists here!~

Hey, summer should have been boring, but thanks to the company of Harriette and Leland, I can say I survived summer. haha!~ and oh, they're still intelligent..=P I haven't seen Ayesha, Gizelle and Sarah yet.. I miss them.. my P5 family ---oh, make it P6, I didnt include myself. :)
Before I end this post.. I'll leave you with a tip.. bring an umbrella in case of emergency.. you dont want to get caught in the rain, don't you? :)
