You could be responsive...but maybe too much.

What is the first thing that comes in your mind when you hear the word "sensitive"? For some, it could be a term to describe someone so fragile in terms of emotions, or someone who is aware on what is happening to his or her surroundings.

I had the chance to talk to a psychic, and asked her to read my personality. With one look, she told me that I am a sensitive person and someone my friends could count on. Then suddenly, it hit me like a big wave in the ocean.

My friends told me that I was sensitive.
Even my mom and dad.
Yeah, even my college friends too.

That made me think. Is that a good thing?

It may be a good thing, because I'm sensitive to what the people around me are feeling--they need not to tell me if there's something wrong that's going on. A sensitive person could actually read between the lines of what you say, or even the facial expressions that you show them.

But sometimes, it could be a bad thing. You could be easily affected to what people say...easily get hurt, in short. A person could not actually mean what he or she says sometimes, but when you say that to the sensitive ones, they dig deeper to the meaning of what you said and could actually lead to misinterpreted conclusions.

I admit that I could be sensitive in both ways--good and bad. But I don't hate myself for having delicate emotions. I'm really sensitive with what my parents tell me because I CARE on what they think about me. And I think being sensitive is a gift...its like you kind of know how people think or you know what's going on (this doesn't happen all the time, though). And if you're sensitive, you will be careful on what you say to people because you don't want them to be hurt (sometimes there's an exception: I could get frank with people I'm comfortable with).

I can't blame people if they don't like me because I'm too sensitive. I understand now. :)
But I think with this--I could be a good friend and I could spread love in my own way :D
